  • I am broadly interested in the causes and consequences of species diversity in plant communities. My current research focuses on how nutrient enrichment and ecosystem management strategies affects the diversity, composition, and productivity of temperate steppe. We have established many long-term experiments to test hypotheses about how nutrient input affects temperate steppe. Many works from those experiment have been published in Global Change Biology, Journal of Ecology, Functional Ecology, Oecologia, Biogeochemistry, Plant and Soil.
